Performing the Song II:  Music from The Greatest Showman

Grades 3-4-5; Saturdays 9:00-10:30am        Tuition = $120 ($15/week)

Come and be a part of The Greatest Show! Jump to the other side into music from the popular movie as students build the connection between body and voice while strengthening vocal and movement skills. As students further develop their technique, the story of P.T. Barnum and his circus will come alive.

Spotlight Stories:  Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

Grades 1-2; Saturdays 12:30-1:30pm         Tuition = $96 ($12/week)

Take a trip to visit the people of an unordinary town called Chewandswallow through this storytelling class!  Develop story construction skills, character creation, and teamwork through ensemble activities using the actor’s primary tools: body, voice, and imagination.

Stage Creations:  Captain Underpants

Grades 3-4; Saturdays 10:45-11:45am         Tuition = $96 ($12/week)

Discover the hero inside of us all like Principal Krupp discovers the hero in himself! Using the Captain Underpants series as inspiration, create a story about friendship and heroic adventure through ensemble story creation. Utilizing improvisation and character work, the class will brainstorm and create the next adventure of Captain Underpants!

Performing the Song:  Music from Moana

Grades K-1-2; Saturdays 10:45am-12:15pm      Tuition = $120 ($15/week)

It’s amazing how far you’ll go in this class! Take a dive into music from the movie as students develop their storytelling skills through singing and dancing. Build the connection between body and voice while strengthening vocal skills such as breathing, harmony, rhythm, diction, and resonance. As students develop their technique, the tale of Moana and Maui will come to life!

Skills for the Stage:  Actor’s Block

Grades 5-8; Saturdays 12:30-2:30pm        Tuition = $120 ($15/week)

Get creative wheels turning in this scene class especially designed for middle school-aged artists. Explore the process of writing a scene while taking limitations into consideration such as: number of actors, size of the space, and acting block scenery pieces.  Performance skills will be honed by learning to approach scenes and characters with a director's lens considering the audience’s perspective, the use of space, the theme of the scene, and the objectives of the characters.
