This program will feature hands-on instruction in a fun and fast-paced learning environment with area educators and artistic professionals culminating in a presentation from Disney’s Aladdin Kids. Students will receive voice instruction, develop dance skills, and be introduced to theater vocabulary and concepts while building ensemble skills through theatre games and exercises.
Note: K-2 students will present select scenes and songs from Aladdin as their presentation on June 21 & 22. Fundamentals of theatre, creativity, and ensemble will take center stage in their half-day experience. 3-5 grade students will present a full production of Aladdin Kids as their showcase on June 27 & 28.
Grades K-2, Half-Day Camp = $200, includes a production t-shirt
Grades 3-5, Full-Day Camp = $300, includes a souvenir script & rehearsal knapsack
Parent Meeting: May 22, 2017 at 6:00pm at The Stage at Island Park
Children will be placed in roles the first week of classes; no auditions will take place.

Students completing grades 6-8 can take a trip back to the 1980s for a month of pop music, glitter, and roller disco as FMCT brings XANADU JR to life on our stage! All who enroll will be cast in the production with auditions for roles being held the first day of camp.
Our four-week program will foster middle school-aged artists as they further develop to the next level in their theatre education and performance. Students will receive voice instruction, develop dance skills, explore techniques for character development, and master theater vocabulary and concepts while building ensemble skills through theatre games and exercises.
Fee: $325, a souvenir script & rehearsal knapsack
Parent Meeting: Tuesday, June 26 at 6:00pm at The Stage at Island Park
Auditions for roles will be held the first day of camp.
