Are you interested in volunteering at the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre?

Here are some reasons to get involved.

Learn a new skill.  Wood working, sewing, props, lighting, even ushering and ticket taking.  Nor experience is necessary to work in any area

Act on the stage.  Professional and amateur are all invited to act at FMCT.

Make new friends.  Volunteering at FMCT is a great place to start a new friendship or even a relationship.  Make it a guy or gals night out.

Spend quality time with your family and friends or start a new tradition that will earn you tickets for the upcoming production in the process.

Community Service.  Earn your community service hours for school, or give back to your community through time not money

Sense of pride and accomplishment.  Bragging rights and seeing your work on stage, what could be more fulfilling?

What types of things can you volunteer to do?

Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre puts on 4 productions, Children's Studio Theatre puts on 6 productions, and Northern Prairie Performing Arts Touring Company puts on 2 productions each year.  This provides volunteers with many varieties of entertainment so you can chose which venue suits your needs.  Between all the different arms of the theatre, we will be producing a least show each month sometimes two.  Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre will also be home to a few outside theatre companies that want to produce shows and there may be volunteer opportunities with those shows as well.

Check out our list of current programming for the season.

Below is a list of volunteer activities that always need to be filled.  More will be added as needed.  Please click each link to learn more about each position.  You will also find a series of volunteer handbooks also available on line.  These give a very detailed view of the responsibilities for each position.
